She was predeceased by: her parents, George King and Irene King; her husband Frank Vedope; and her siblings, Charles King, Georgia Roush and Jean Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Vedope (Jody), Garry Vedope and Carol Wheeler (Dale); her grandson Justin Wheeler (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Timothy and Emily Wheeler. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in Shirley's memory made to VNA Hospice, 501 Marquette Street, Valparaiso, Indiana would be appreciated.
