It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharee Funk of Hobart, Indiana, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benson and Patricia Benson; and her brother Patrick Benson. She is survived by: her husband Louie Funk; her children, Lorri Butala (John), Kari Creech (Brian Krischano) and Brad Funk (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brooklynn Smock (Nate), Alexandra Jostes (Joey Gawor), Brennan Creech (Kaitlynn Bickerstaff) and Lauren Jostes (Liam O'Connor); her great grandchild Amelia Smock; and her siblings, Larry Benson (Carla), Beverly Troumouliaris and Sally (John). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in Sharee's memory can be made to the Southlake Church of the Region, 7355 East 81st Avenue.
