It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Spivak of Hobart, Indiana, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Spivak and Grace Spivak (Schaafsma); his sister Karen Stover; his brothers-in-law, George Rust and Lonnie Stover; and his son Alex Mazur.
He is survived by: his wife Maria "Pilar" Spivak; his children, Jessica "Jes" Spivak (Delphine), Becca Hendricks (Jon), Jodi Spivak (Keith), Erika Silva, Alfonso Silva, Francisco Silva (Ana) and Fabrizzio Silva; his grandchildren, Adelaide, Rachel, Noah and Alejandro; and his siblings, James Spivak (Donna), Diane Spivak Rust, John Spivak and Tom Spivak (Angel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
