He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Zepeda and Maria Zepeda; his uncles, Franciscan-Alexandro Galvez Zepeda, Priest-Salvador Galvez Zepeda and Leopoldo Galvez Zepeda; and his brother-in-law Francisco J. Chavez.

He is survived by: his wife Leticia Zepeda; and his siblings, Luis (Angelica), Josephina (Nicolas), Maria (Luis), Amalia (Raul), Alexandro (Leticia), Cecilia (Alexandro) and David (Vicky). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
