He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Mike Janis (Jennifer) of Lowell and Melissa Adcock (Jason) of DeMotte; his grandchildren, Michael Janis (Becky) of Merrillville, Erik Janis of Dickinson, ND and Hailey Adcock of DeMotte; his great grandchild Andrew; his brother Leonard Janis (Toni) of Burns Harbor; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Janis, Cheri Janis and Melisa Janis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
