It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose J. MacKey of Hobart, Indiana, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Mackey Jr.; her parents, Robert Manis and Edna Manis; her brother Robert Manis; and her son-in-law Joe Lucas.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Carey (Arthur), Susan Achten (Jeffrey), Thomas Mackey (April) and Shawn Lucas (Bill Tyler); her grandchildren, Tricia Fisher (Robert), Tom Mackey, Michael Terek (Mary), Craig Kwolek, Kari White (Scott), Christopher Mixis (Julie), Andrea McGinnis (Ryan), Jason Achten and Jacob Achten (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Nathan, Michael, Zachary, Jackson, Isabel, Jayson, Aiden, Parker, Brock, Brooklyn and Logan; and her great great grandchild Willow.
Due to Covid-19, restrictions in the Funeral Home include: social distancing at 6 feet and face masks will be required.
