With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert McKenna of Hobart, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on June 25, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene McKenna (Minniti) and Robert; his aunt Judy; his uncle Carl Erfurth; and his sister Patricia Coats.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa of Hobart; his children, Traci Didonna (Mike) of Westville and Jason McKenna (Kahley) of Crown Point; his grandchildren, Eleanor Didonna, Abigail Didonna, Kahlil McKenna and Kegan McKenna; his sisters, Cathy Henderson of California and Sharon Toneff of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Corky Coats, Tom Trojan (Jerry) and Thelma Bianco (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in Bob's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
