He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Mattix and Lillian Mattix; and his brother Stewart Mattix. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Mattix; his children, Kevin Mattix (Adina), Kurt Mattix and Kelli McMullen; his grandchildren, Alexander, Lauren, Addison, Zack, Zeke, Zane, Ryan and Olivia; his siblings, John Mattix (Gail), David Mattix (Cheryl Short), Marilyn Maguire and Kathleen Malak (David); and his sister-in-law Connie Mattix.
