He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Guthrie Sr. and Helen Jane Krause (Meenan); his brother Edward Clyde Guthrie; his uncle James Meenan; and his daughter Gina Sands.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Robert Guthrie (Deborah), Tony Guthrie (Cindy), Steven Ruffalo (Lisa), Katie Salk, Kevin Guthrie (Suthida), Brogan Hoffman (Kevin) and Meghan Snuckel (David); his grandchildren, Erin, Emma Guthrie, Olivia, Reese Ruffalo, Charley Salk, Anjela Guthrie, Cameron and Abigail Hoffman; and his son Winston Snuckel.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his name to the Lustgarten Foundation or Hospice of the Calumet area.
