He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Burkhart and Elsie Burkhart; and his wife Karen Burkhart. He is survived by: his children, Terry R. Burkhart (Janet) and Diane Mink (James); his grandchildren, Stacy Newlin (Mike), Jeff Peek and Glenn Henningfield (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Tyler Newlin, Ashley Henningfield and Sarah Heming.
