He is survived by: his wife Judy Morris; his children, Sherri Pendleton (Jim Konja) of Hobart and Gregory Morehouse (Patricia) of Westville; his grandchildren, Michael Morehouse, Andrew Pendleton and Jennifer Pendleton; his great grandchildren, Hayden Purcell, Jaylen and Jalena Pendleton; and his siblings, Jeanne Lind (Al), Daniel Morehouse (Mindy) and William "Billy" Morehouse. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to St Jude Children's Research Centers.
