She was predeceased by: her parents, Cull H. Morgan and Nora E. Morgan; her sons, Carl D. Smith and Everett K. Smith; and her grandchildren, Roderick Smith Jr., Edward R. Harrison, Sherell R. Gray-Clark, Tanya E. Gray and Aretha L. Gray-Laster.
She is survived by: her children, Roderick Smith (Myra), Patricia Johnson, Carlean Gadling (Robert) and Actress Bartlett (Robert). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
