He was predeceased by: his parents, Filja Nikolic and Djokic. He is survived by: his wife Paska; his children, Zoran Nikolic, Anton Nikolic (Kristina), Drita Camaj (Leon), Vera Ivanaj (Nikol) and Valentina Dedvukaj (Kola); his aunt Aga Doks; and his siblings, Leka Nikolic, Petear Nikolic and Gjyste Nicaj. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
