He is survived by: his mother Annette Betz (Richard Varella) of Hobart, IN; his brothers, Jake Varella (Jenn) of Hobart, IN and Alec Nesmith of Hobart, IN; his grandmothers, Dorothy Samsel (late James) and Barbara Varella (late Richard Sr.) of Hobart, IN; his aunts, Becky Johnson (Carl), Connie Wright (James) of Hobart, IN and Jennifer Betz of Lake Station, IN; his niece Bailey Varella; and his nephew Jakey Varella. He is also survived by many other cousins, family and lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Rees Funeral Home (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342).
