She was predeceased by: her husband David "Papi" Ortiz; her parents, Maurico Avila and Elpidia Molina; and her siblings, Telesforo, Mario, Guillermo, Antonio, Jesus, Efren and Sonia Margarita.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony C. Pizana, Juliette I. Ortiz and Samantha Y. Ortiz; and her siblings, Blanca Avila (late Mauricio), Alejandra Lopez (Jaime), Rosario Silva (late Jose), Guadalupe Molina (Pedro), Raquel Oria (Rogelio) and Marisa C. Salazar (Sergio). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; pet cats.
