It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Hannigan of Hobart, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bjerkness and Ellen Bjerkness; and her sister Audrey Busching. She is survived by: her husband Mike Hannigan of Hobart, IN; her daughters, Julie Feikes of Hobart, IN, Dana Hannigan of Florence, KY and Kathi Hannigan of Hobart, IN; her sisters, Gail Dayhoff of Portage, IN, Lynne Lonigro of Knox, IN, Carole Freeman of Greenville, KY, Barb Reed (Bill) of Knox, IN and Penny Vick (Leroy); her grandchildren, Therese Overturf, Taylor Stevens, Jordan Rongstad, Andrew Feikes, Aaron Feikes, Rylee Hannigan, Kodee Meadows and Megan Dalton; and her great grandchildren, Brennan Overturf, Kane Boswell, Piper Cottrell, Finley Overturf and Breanna Swaner.
