It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John N. McLeod of Hobart, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McLeod and Helen McLeod; his sisters, Beatrice Chelovich and Mary Dawn Mulroe; his nephew Michael Chelovich; and his niece Cynthia Polakis McLeod.

He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Faye McLeod; his children, Scott McLeod (Patricia), Mark MacLeod (Alexandra Sirugue) and Alison McLeod Burns (John); his grandchildren, Megan Jenks (Michael), Meredith Tuomi (John), Steven McLeod (Chelsea), Gabrielle MacLeod, Keelan MacLeod, Gallianne Lily MacLeod, Claire Burns and Joseph Burns; his great grandchildren, Oliver Jenks, Miles Jenks, Rowan Tuomi and Sophia McLeod; and his brothers, Daniel McLeod (Beverly) and Howard McLeod. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the global pandemic, a private Memorial Service for immediate family only will be held at Geisen Funeral Home in Merrillville, Indiana.
