He is survived by: his children, Marian Kangas (Keith) of Sands, Michelle Kauppila (Allen Jahovic) of Hobart, IN and James Kauppila (Tamera) of Burlington, WI; his brothers, Raymond Kauppila (Vanda) of Ishpeming and Steven Kauppila (Bonnie) of Ishpeming; and his great grandchildren, Jennifer Aker (Nick), Amanda York (Chris Ohnmeiss), Sara Swick (Michael), Mitchel Kauppila (Jamie), Samantha Baldwin (Lucas), Aimee Spinato (Matt Kasten), Amber Peacock (Matt), Megan Tarvas (Dakota), Henry Spinato Jr., Mason Kauppila, Lily Kauppila, Shyloh Lehigh, Myles Lehigh, Lydia Rose Baldwin, Willow Aker, Korben Aker, Gryffin Aker, Timothy Swick, Alyssa Swick, Abigail Swick, Micah Kauppila, Makayla Kauppila, Aiden Peacock, Liam Tarvas and Oliver Kasten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
