It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Conn of Hobart, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clabe M. Conn and Willie P. Conn (Harmon); his former wife Phyllis Conn (Nichols); his son Daniel P. Conn; his grandson Joshua P. Conn; his stepchildren, Brian and Kimberly Finchum; and his siblings, Louise Price (Conn), Marcelle Neal (Conn), Horace Conn and Wayne Conn.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Conn (Finchum); his daughters, Diana LaMere (Phil) of Carmel and Donna Cleek (Jerry) of Hobart; his daughter-in-law Lori Conn (Eastwood) of Port St; his stepson Garry Finchum (Dionn) of Lake Station; his brother Leonard "Harlton" Conn (late Marie) of Nettleton, MS; his grandchildren, Nick Cleek of Brownsburg, Katie Rogers (Derek) of Midlothian, VA, Jake Cleek (Kayleigh) of Greer, SC, Danielle Green (Jeasun) of Port St, Tony LaMere of Noblesville and Gabby LaMere of Carmel; his stepgranddaughters, Lacey Finchum of Boone, AR and Brittaney Finchum Ray of Hobart; and his great grandchildren, Jealyn Green, Stella Rogers, Finn Rogers, Camden Cleek, Carter Green and Chase LaMere. He is also survived by his close friends and family.
