He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hiestand (Nee Blatz); his daughters, Tamara Hiestand of Valparaiso, Nerissa Hiestand of Lake Station and Holly Wheeler (Jeff) of Carmel; his grandchildren, Kaylin Keilman, Kristin Joyce, Dane, Tate and Phoebe Wheeler; and his siblings, Chester Hiestand, David Hiestand (Penny) of Hobart, Terry Hiestand (Joyce) of North Judson, Kevin Hiestand (Barbara) of Hebron and Marilyn Brown (Jim) of Leesburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are preferred to VFW Post #988 705 Roosevelt Road Valparaiso, Indiana 46383.
