She was predeceased by: her parents, John David and Sarah David; her husband Leslie "Lubby" Brooks; her daughter Sharon Brooks Englemann; and her siblings, Olga Stewart, Katie Mace, Anne Frank, Minnie Gray, John David, Frieda Kayes and Tommy David.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Byrd, Craig David Brooks (Dianna) and Cary Brooks (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Amanda Camarillo (Steve), Bradley Byrd, Spencer and Kathlene Brooks; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Jordan Boyd; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Hayden, Austin Byrd, Olivia and Emma Camarillo; and her brother Michael David (Wanda).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to Center for Possibilities (Cerebral Palsy of NWI) or Saint Mary Medical Center Auxiliary.
