She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Essington and Elvira Essington; her husband Lynn B. West Sr.; her sons, Roland and Kevin West; her grandsons, Adam and Jason West; and her sister Betty Jean Wilkins.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn West Jr. (Shirley "Cookie"), Pamela Marcum (Thomas), Deborah Titak (Julius) and Tanya Hutchins (James); and her sisters, Dolores Piggish and Mary Ellen Greenwood (Thomas). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
