He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Jelenek and Agnes Jelenek (Nedvidek); his wife Josephine "Jojo" Jelenek (Michalewicz); and his brother Edward Jelenek. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Gibson (Dave) of Phoenix, AZ, Cynthia Atterberry (Don) of Valparaiso and Victoria Conner (Mickey) of Beecher, IL; his grandchildren, Robin Rohwedder (Tim), Lisa Waugaman, Justin Jelenek (Brenda), Tyler Atterberry and Jeanette Atterberry; his great grandchildren, Joel and Chase; his siblings, Carolyn Woldt (Herb), Frank Jelenek (Janet), Thomas Jelenek and Richard Jelenek (Diana); his sister-in-law Sonna Jelenek; and his former wife Joan Jelenek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Disabled American Veterans.
