He was predeceased by: his father Albert M. Durko; his former wife Dianne Durko; his sister-in-law Linda Woodworth; his half-brother Bob McKinney; and his niece Michelle Doyle.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Durko of Crown Point, IN and Steven Durko (Meghan) of Fort Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Marisa, Jack Christian and Elee Durko; his half-brother Kenny McKinney; and his niece Sandy Woodworth of Chesterton, IN..
