It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail I. Stookey (Hobart, Indiana), born in Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 22, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bellin and Nina Bellin. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Richard D. Stookey; her children, Jeff Schaefer (Karen), Craig Schaefer (Rose), Julia Mack, Kim Myers (Drew), Bruce Stookey (Darlene), Scott Stookey and Douglas Stookey; and her sister Sonyia Bellin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hobart Humane Society.
