She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurora Avila-Lopez and Anselmo Lopez. She is survived by: her children, Delton Viera (Celines), Luz Viera, Esther Santiago (Horacio), Emenegilda Viera, Elsa Vega-Valentin and Eugenia Viera-Gonzalez (Luis).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana (NOTE: due to construction on Indianapolis Boulevard, please use Railroad, Tod, or Olcott Avenues to 142nd Street); and on Friday, December 1, 2023 at First Church, from 9:30 am until the time of the services at 10:00 am.
