He is survived by: his son Francis R. Monroe of New Chicago; his grandsons, Gary Monroe (Donna) and Daniel Monroe; and his great grandchildren, Scott, Kaylee, Joseph, Courteney and Phillip. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
