She is survived by: her husband David Higgins; her children, Michael Maxwell and Denise Adkins (Jeff); her grandchildren, Trevor Adkins, Jeremy Adkins and Erin Lovall; and her siblings, Rolan Riggers (Merle), Ruth Wallace, Sherman Riggers (Janet), Dennis Riggers (Joy), Rita Lalonde (Perry), Elaine Castelli and Sharon Riggers. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and other loving family and friends.
