He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lipke and LaMae Lipke (Blackman); his wife Jean Marie Kraft; and his daughter Debbie Samardzija. He is survived by: his children, Martin R. Lipke (Cynde) of Greenville, Carey W. Lipke (Lisa) of Hobart and Carol A. Needham (James) of Hobart; his grandchildren, Samuel (Michelle), Jeffrey (Andrea), Keith, Adam, Aaron (Danielle), Melissa, Emily and Vinessa; his great grandchildren, Goldie, Rex, Luca, Leo Samardzija and Spencer Lipke; and his siblings, DeForest, Dennis Lipke and Donna Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dunes Hospice, 4711 Evans Ave., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
