He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan L. Bateman and Helen R. Bateman; his brother Daryl L. Bateman; and his great-nephew Alexander Corbeille. He is survived by: his siblings, Dale Bateman, Lester Dean Bateman (Laura) of Hobart, IN., Patricia Carr (Jerry) of Portage, IN. and Lorri Philbin (Tom) of Cape Coral. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
