It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Moldovan of Hobart, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Joanne June Moldovan; his brother Kenny Moldovan; his brother-in-law John Janis; and his nephew Ronald Moldovan.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Mathis and Tiffany Benard (Greg); his fiancée Teresa Wright; his siblings, Michael Moldovan, Cherie Janis (late John), Debbie Soliday (Jody), Irish and Linda Bottos (Jim); his grandchildren, Tim Johnson (Brittany), Jessica Koselke (Terry), Jacob Timberlake, Megan Jones (Dylan) and Lucus Benard; and his pet Snowball. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many dear close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Charlie's family.
