She is survived by: her husband John; her children, John (Diana), Mike (Cay) and Marianne (Bruce Cooper); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, John (Nao), Melissa (Chris) and Drew (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Tristin, Trey, Deric, Truett, Jet Tejas, Dominic, Audrey and Lilly. She is also survived by her grandchildren, and being with her friends and family.

Carolyn did charity work at Hobart hospital for many years.
