She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Steele and Catherine Steele. She is survived by: her husband Mike Phelan of Hobart, IN; and her children, John Phelan, Carrie Lynn Simpson of Florida and Patricia Ann Douglas of Michigan.
A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
