He was predeceased by: his wife Monica Rivera (Renta); his children, Ariel Rivera (Suzane) and Yolanda Macias; and his sibling Rico. He is survived by: his son Edwin Rivera (Amelia); his stepson Orlando Martinez (Flora); his grandchildren, Eric Rivera, Amanda Rivera, Selena Rivera and Sheena Rivera; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Veda and Mateo; and his siblings, Maria Ferrer and Dominic. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
