It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Thompson (Hobart, Indiana), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Carter and Gladys Carter; her former husband John Nelson MacDonald; and her sister Rosemary Ensign. She is survived by: her husband Leland Thompson; her sons, Philip MacDonald (Paula), Bruce MacDonald (Jan) and Scott MacDonald (Tracey); her great grandchildren, Ronan Wilson, Olive Wilson and Hayden Wilson; and her sister Shirley Worthington (Don Jurs).
Memorial contributions in Bobbie's name may be made to Augustana Evangelical Lutheran Church.
