He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendel Chismudy and Clara Chismudy; and his siblings, Julia Robertson, Wendel Chismudy and John Chismudy.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dolly" Chismudy; and his sister Betty Whiteside. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or charity of donor's choice.
