She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Mardis and Martha Mardis (Alvey); and her sisters, Anna Booth and Susan George. She is survived by: her children, Gene Dukes of Hobart and Stephanie Spears (Jake) of Portage; her grandchildren, Gene Dukes, Kaylee Sue Dukes, Sierra Spears, Hanna Olliver, Mackenzie Botteon, Michael Dukes and Kelsey Dukes; and her siblings, Richard Mardis (Ruth) of Valparaiso, David Mardis of Portage, Ronald Mardis (Jenn) of Michigan City and Alice Valpatic of Whitestown. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
