He is survived by: his wife Sharon Brenneke of Hoagland, Indiana; his children, Doug Brenneke (Tama) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Tammera Roussey of Fort Wayne and Tracy Hoot (Josh) of Hoagland, Indiana; his brother Bruce Brenneke (Jamie) of Woodburn, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Quinn Brenneke, Zane Brenneke, Kaleb Dienelt (Sonia), Natalie Beckstedt (Matt), Hunter Dienelt, Vanessa Faulkner (Eric), Taylor Roussey, Austin Roussey, Eden Hoot and Riley Hoot. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
