With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Fuhrman of Hoagland, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on March 11, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Fuhrman and Clara Fuhrman (Lahrman); his siblings, Melvin (Madonna), William "Bill", Otto "Moe" Fuhrman (Marlene) and Ruth Eggers (Harvey); his brother-in-law Al Hormann; his niece Sherry Strasser; his siblings-in-law, Joseph King and Barbara Scheumann; and his niece Debra Kunkle.
He is survived by: his wife Evie Fuhrman of Hoagland, Indiana; his children, Beth Kitson (Don) of Decatur, Indiana and Chad Fuhrman (Erin) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sister Shirley Hormann of Decatur, Indiana; his grandchildren, Aubrey Fuhrman, Hayden Fuhrman, DJ Kitson, Isaac Fuhrman and Kate Kitson; and his siblings, Richard Scheumann (Donna) of Hoagland, Indiana, Roger Scheumann of Hoagland, Indiana, Elaine King of New Haven, Indiana, Eleda Koenemann (Denny) of Monroeville, Indiana and Ray Scheumann (Jayne) of Auburn, Indiana..
