It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleola Short of Hillsdale, Indiana, born in Newport, Indiana, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray D. Russell and Esther K. Johnson Kinderman; her husband Ronnie Short; and her sisters, Shirley Miller of Crowley, LA and Jackie Roderick of Newport, IN..
She is survived by: her son Rex Allen Short (Melissa Sue) of Hillsdale; her granddaughter Alexis Marie Doss (Dustin) of Rockville; her siblings, Carolyn Peer of West Lebanon and Robert Henry of Newport; her great grandchildren, Emmalyn and Callie Doss; and her stepsiblings, Judy Henry West of Brazil, IN and Ted Henry of Champaign, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley in Cleola's memory.
