He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Johnsen and Daphne Johnsen; his father-in-law William Bennett; his son-in-law Adam Gholson; and his sister Colleen Wagner.

He is survived by: his wife Dorinda Johnsen (Dori); his children, Kristy Gholson and Billy Johnsen (Christine); his grandchildren, Aiden, Adalyn and Colin; and his brother Scott Johnsen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
