He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Witt and Lorraine Witt. He is survived by: his wife Janice Witt; his children, Jennifer Gerstner (Jeremy), Tonya Hyatt (David) and Tom Witt Jr.; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Jayden, James Gerstner, George and Eliza Hyatt.
He was known for working weekends and cutting no corners to ensure that his friends and neighbors were taken care of, including donating his time and energy to the neighboring church.
