We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 85, Sarah E. Hamby (Highland, Indiana), born in Hammond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hishon and Leta Hishon; her siblings, Bill Hishon, Hazel Durham, Margaret Crane, June Glidewell and Jean Randall (JL Hamby); and her children, Sarah Regina Hutcheson and William Hamby (Bill).
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Robert Hamby (Teralyn) and Richard Daniel Hamby; her grandchildren, Tyler Hutcheson, Tarah Hamby, Brandon Hamby, David Witt, Matthew Witt, Heather Hamby and Billy Hamby; and her sister Liz Edwards. She is also survived by great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
