It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Denise Serrano (Highland, Indiana), born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Norman, Mary Johnson and James Harris. She is survived by: her children, Jiovani Serrano and Charlotte Serrano; the father of her children Jiovani Serrano; her parents, James Harris (Amy), Lisa Shaughnessy (Michael) and Daisy Girman (Chris); her siblings, Brittany Nickos (Rick), James Harris, Tyler Harris, Jacinda Lubarski (David) of Xavier Garcia, A. J, Alyssa Shaughnessy, Joey Shaughnessy, Kyle Shaughnessy and Anna-Rose Shaughnessy; and her grandmother Jerry Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to her children.
