He was predeceased by: his son John; and his grandson Mark Aurel Peters. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his sons, James Peters (Karen), Joseph Peters (Cheryl), Lawrence Peters (Sharon) and Kenneth Peters (Sherrie); and his siblings, Betty Cloutier (Jack), Arlene Semon (late Bill) and Jerry Piskorowski (Pam). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Homes - Highland (2828 Highway Ave, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (3025 Highway Ave, Highland, IN 46322). A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the St John St Joseph Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
