He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur and Joan Sawyer. He is survived by: his daughter Kaiza; his parents, Phil and Renee; his siblings, Michael and Megan; his nephew Aaron; and his grandparents, Mel and Karen Blair. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Matthew's daughter, in his memory, for her future education.
