She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Sabol and Elizabeth Baller Sabol; her husband Ronald; her daughter Kimberly Ann; and her sisters, Joan Donnelly and Monica Novak.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Scott and Kristi Emanuel; her son-in-law Michael; her granddaughter Sophia of Plains; and her siblings, John Sabol, Bernadine Sabol and Ann Lisowski. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yeosock Funeral Home (40 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Parish Immaculate Conception Church (605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston, PA 18643).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Betsy's memory to the SPCA of Luzerne County, honoring her enduring love for animals and her cherished dogs, Coco and Pearl.
