He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Steapleton and Hazel Steapleton. He is survived by: his wife Diane Steapleton; his daughters, Melissa Fischer (Daniel) and Megan Mitchell (Damian); his grandchildren, Madison, Lucas Mitchell, Elijah and Miah Fischer; and his siblings, Bill Steapleton (Ann), Dale Steapleton (Kathie) and Pam Novosel (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
