She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence'Pete' Wilson and Grace Wilson; and her brothers, Don and Tom Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Stokes; her children, Bill Stokes (Kelly) and Jennifer Skurski (Michael); her grandchildren, Lauren Schoonveld (Tim), Lindsey Walstra (Trenton), Bennett and Jillian Skurski; her great grandchildren, Rory, Macy and Josie; and her sisters, Judy Fowler and Grace Homer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the St John/St Joseph Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
