He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Basil Rupe and Eunice Cecil Rupe Turpin; his wife Jewel White Rupe; his grandson Trey Parris; and his brother Elwood Rupe of Draper.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Rupe of Roanoke and Cindy Rupe of Christiansburg; and his grandson Seth Parris of Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Harold's name to The American Cancer Society.
